1 cup shredded Cheddar cheese (4 oz)

Steps:

  • Heat oven to 400°F. Generously grease rectangular baking dish, 13x9x2 inches. Cook ground beef and onion in 10-inch skillet over medium heat, stirring occasionally, until beef is brown; drain. Stir in soup, vegetables and milk.
  • Stir Bisquick mix and water in baking dish until moistened; spread evenly. Spread beef mixture over batter. Sprinkle with cheese.

1 large onion, chopped into 1-inch pieces
butter-flavored cooking spray (such as Pam®)
2 pounds ground beef
2 (10.75 ounce) cans condensed golden mushroom soup (such as Campbell's®)
3 cups shredded sharp Cheddar cheese
1 (32 ounce) package frozen bite-size potato nuggets (such as Tater Tots®)

Steps:

  • Place onion in a microwave-safe bowl and cover with water. Microwave on High until soft, 7 to 8 minutes. Drain.
  • Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Spray a 9x13-inch casserole dish with cooking spray.
  • Cook and stir ground beef in a large nonstick skillet over medium-high heat until browned and crumbly, 5 to 7 minutes. Drain and discard grease.

2 cups frozen mixed vegetables
1/4 cup chopped onion
2 tablespoons butter
2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/8 teaspoon pepper
3/4 cup milk
1/3 cup shredded cheddar cheese

Steps:

  • Place 1 in. of water in a saucepan; add vegetables. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat; cover and simmer for 5 minutes or until vegetables are crisp-tender. Drain. In a saucepan, saute onion in butter until tender. Stir in the flour, salt and pepper until blended. Gradually whisk in milk. Bring to a boil; cook and stir for 1-2 minutes or until thickened. Remove from the heat; stir in cheese until cheese is melted. Stir in vegetables., Transfer to a greased 2-1/2 cup baking dish.
