Steps:
- - Preheat oven to 350 df - In nonstick skillet, cook bacon over medium-high heat about 8 minutes or until nearly crisp. Drain bacon and wipe skillet dry. - Return bacon to pan, add garlic, and cook over medium heat until bacon is crisp, about 3 minutes. Make sure garlic doesn't burn. Fold in bacon, garlic, blue cheese, and chives. - Transfer to 2-cup baking dish; top evenly with almonds. Bake about 30 minutes or until heated through. Serve with crackers, baguette slices, or vegetables.
Tips:
- Use good quality blue cheese. This is the key ingredient in the dip, so make sure it's a cheese that you enjoy the taste of. A sharp, tangy blue cheese will give the dip the best flavor.
- Don't overcook the dip. The dip should be heated through, but it should not be boiling. Overcooking the dip will cause the cheese to become rubbery and the dip will lose its smooth, creamy texture.
- Serve the dip immediately. The dip is best served warm, so don't let it sit out for too long before serving. If you need to make the dip ahead of time, you can store it in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. Just be sure to reheat it gently before serving.
- Garnish the dip with your favorite toppings. Some popular garnishes for blue cheese dip include crumbled bacon, chopped walnuts, and sliced green onions. You can also add a drizzle of olive oil or balsamic vinegar for extra flavor.

Warm blue cheese dip is a delicious and versatile appetizer that is perfect for any occasion. It's easy to make, and it can be tailored to your own taste preferences.
