Steps:
- 1. Preheat oven 450 degrees F. (Her recipe says 500 degrees) but mine does better at lower temp.
- 2. In a medium mixing bowl, stir together the flour, sugar, and cream until the dough forms a ball. Turn the dough out onto a surface dusted with the additional flour.
- 3. Fold the dough in 1/2 and knead 5 to 7 times, adding just enough flour to keep dough from sticking to your hands.
- 4. Gently roll out dough to 1/2 thickness. Using a 3-inch biscuit cutter coated with flour, cut dough into biscuits. Place on baking sheet coated with cooking spray ( I use crisco shortening), leaving at least 1 -inch between each biscuit.
- 5. Bake for 10 to 13 minutes, or until golden brown. ( I rub margarine on the tops when I take them out while they are hot). These bake very quickly so keep a check on them.

Steps:
- Preheat oven to 450F. Combine flour and cream in a mixing bowl, stirring just until blended. (The dough will be a little stiff.) Transfer dough to a lightly floured surface and knead 10 times. Roll to ½-inch thickness and cut with a 2-inch cutter. Place biscuits close together on a lightly greased baking sheet. Bake 10 minutes.
Tips:
- Use cold ingredients: Chilling the butter and cream before making the dough will help the biscuits turn out flaky and light.
- Don't overwork the dough: Overworking the dough will make the biscuits tough. Mix the ingredients just until they come together.
- Roll out the dough to the correct thickness: The dough should be rolled out to a thickness of about 1/2 inch. If the dough is too thick, the biscuits will be dense and heavy. If the dough is too thin, the biscuits will be dry and crumbly.
- Cut the biscuits into even-sized pieces: Cutting the biscuits into even-sized pieces will help them bake evenly.
- Bake the biscuits at a high temperature: Baking the biscuits at a high temperature (450°F) will help them rise and turn golden brown.
- Don't overbake the biscuits: Overbaking the biscuits will make them dry and crumbly. Bake the biscuits just until they are golden brown on top.
Conclusion:
