HOMEMADE IRISH (WHISKEY) CREAM

Homemade Irish (Whiskey) Cream image

This recipe turns out with the best flavour if you make it ahead and let it chill for 24 hours before serving. If you'd rather not serve it over crushed ice, chill the glass while you prepare the drink. Store leftovers in the refrigerator up to two months in an airtight container. If the Irish cream has been sitting in the refrigerator, shake it before serving.

Tips:

  • Use the best quality ingredients you can afford. This will make a big difference in the final flavor of your ice cream.
  • Make sure your cream and milk are very cold before you start making the ice cream. This will help the ice cream freeze more quickly and smoothly.
  • Don't overbeat the ice cream base. Overbeating can make the ice cream grainy.
  • Chill the ice cream base for at least 4 hours, or overnight, before churning. This will help the flavors to develop and will make the ice cream easier to churn.
  • If you don't have an ice cream maker, you can still make this ice cream by freezing it in a covered container and stirring it every 30 minutes or so until it is frozen.

Conclusion:

Whiskey cream liqueur ice cream is a delicious and easy-to-make dessert that is perfect for any occasion.
