Number Of Ingredients 7

1 1/2 cups melon pieces
1/3 cup sugar
1 bottle of white wine - Pinot Grigio or Sauvignon Blanc - (I used Moscato)
1/4 cup brandy
2 tbs Triple Sec
3/4 cup sparkling water or club soda
Ice cubes

Steps:

  • Stir melon and sugar together in a large pitcher. Let stand for 15 to 30 minutes to draw out the juices. Just before serving, stir wine, brandy, Triple Sec, and sparkling water into the pitcher. Serve over ice.

Tips:

  • Choose ripe and flavorful melons: The quality of your melons will greatly impact the taste of your sangria. Look for melons that are heavy for their size, have a deep yellow or orange color, and give off a sweet fragrance.
  • Use a variety of melons: Don't be afraid to mix and match different types of melons. This will add complexity and depth of flavor to your sangria.
  • Chill your ingredients before assembling the sangria: This will help to keep your sangria cold and refreshing.
  • Let the sangria sit for at least 30 minutes before serving: This will allow the flavors to meld together and develop.
  • Garnish your sangria with fresh fruit, herbs, or flowers: This will add a beautiful touch and make your sangria even more inviting.

Conclusion:

White melon sangria is a refreshing and flavorful summer drink that is perfect for any occasion. It is easy to make and can be tailored to your own personal taste. So next time you are looking for a light and delicious drink, give white melon sangria a try. You won't be disappointed!
