WHITE WINE CHICKEN SOUP
Amazing, fill-your-house-with-an-aroma-to-drool-for, easy chicken soup. The longer it cooks, the better it gets. The best is made by my mother, but the rest of us can make this wonderful facsimile. Easily multiplied, exceedingly flexible - have fun! The soup is quite good after 2 hours, but the longer it cooks, the more mellow the flavor will be. If you can, leave it for as many as 6 hours (this is a good recipe when you're in the house all day). Serve with croutons or soup nuts, if desired.

Tips:
- Use a variety of vegetables. This will give your soup a more complex flavor and texture. Some good options include carrots, celery, onions, leeks, potatoes, and turnips.
- Don't overcrowd the pot. If you add too many vegetables, they won't cook evenly and the soup will be watery. Add the vegetables in batches if necessary.
- Use a good quality white wine. The wine you use will have a big impact on the flavor of the soup. Choose a wine that you enjoy drinking by itself.
- Season the soup to taste. Add salt, pepper, and other seasonings to taste. You can also add a squeeze of lemon juice or a dollop of sour cream.
- Serve the soup hot. White wine chicken soup is best served hot, with a side of crusty bread or crackers.

White wine chicken soup is a delicious and easy-to-make soup that is perfect for a cold winter day. It is also a great way to use up leftover chicken.
