Time 40m

Number Of Ingredients 9

1 c manyonnaise
2/3 c dijon mustard
1 medium onion finly chopped
1 or 2 clove garlic chopped finely
1/4 c chopped parsley
1 Tbsp light soy sauce
2 or 3 drops of hot sauce,
4 lb fish filets, your choice
2/3 c bread crumbs, seasoned

Steps:

  • 1. Pre-heat oven to 425 with the rack in the upper third of the oven, (not the very top). Spray a shallow baking dish with cooking oil so fish will not stick..
  • 2. In a shallow bowl mix everything but the bread crumbs.. put bread crumbs in another dish. Dip fish fillets in the sauce mix, then into bread crumbs. Arrange fish on the baking pan in a single layer.
  • 3. Bake at 425 for 15 to 20 minutes. Check for doneness. Fish should flake with a fork.. Serve over cooked rice or by itself.

The mustard sauce was delicious, but the fish was a bit overcooked. I would recommend cooking the fish for a shorter amount of time.

The mustard sauce was a bit too tangy for my taste, but the fish was cooked perfectly. I would recommend using a milder mustard, or adding a bit of honey to the sauce to balance out the flavor.
