We used these brownies with our Mint Parfait, but they can be crumbled as a garnish over any sundae or served warm, topped with a scoop of ice cream.

Number Of Ingredients 8

6 tablespoons butter, cut into small pieces, plus more for pan and parchment paper
3 ounces bittersweet or semisweet chocolate, cut into 1/4-inch pieces
2 large eggs
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/2 cup granulated sugar
1/4 cup firmly packed light-brown sugar
1/2 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
1/2 cup all-purpose flour

Steps:

  • Heat oven to 350 degrees. Butter an 8-inch-square baking pan; line with buttered parchment paper. Bring a small saucepan of water to a boil; turn off heat. Combine butter and chocolate in a small, heatproof bowl; set over the pan of water, stirring occasionally, until melted.
  • Whisk eggs in a large bowl, and add salt, sugars, and vanilla. Stir to combine. Stir in melted chocolate mixture. Sift in flour, and fold until combined. Pour batter into prepared pan; spread evenly. Transfer pan to the oven, and bake until top is shiny and batter is moderately firm, about 25 minutes. Let cool before cutting and removing from pan; serve.

I don't know what went wrong, but these brownies were terrible. They were dry, dense, and had a strange aftertaste. I wouldn't make them again.

These brownies were a complete disaster! They didn't rise properly and they were burnt on the bottom. I had to throw them away.

These brownies were a disappointment. They were dry and crumbly, and the mint parfaits were bland. I wouldn't recommend this recipe.

I wasn't a fan of these brownies. They were too dense and the mint parfaits were too sweet. I wouldn't make them again.

I thought these brownies were just okay. They were a bit dry and the mint parfaits didn't really do much for me.

These brownies were a bit too sweet for my taste, but the mint parfaits helped to balance out the sweetness. Overall, they were a good dessert.

I've tried many brownie recipes over the years, but these are by far the best. They are so moist and fudgy, and the mint parfaits are the perfect finishing touch.

These brownies are the perfect dessert for any occasion. They are rich, chocolatey, and have just the right amount of sweetness. The mint parfaits are a great way to add a refreshing touch.

The combination of brownies and mint parfaits is genius! I loved the way the cool, creamy parfaits balanced out the warm, fudgy brownies. This is a definite winner.

I'm not usually a fan of brownies, but these were surprisingly good. The mint parfaits were a nice touch. I would definitely make these again for a party or potluck.
