A favorite salad gets its turn in a sandwich. For a different flavor, use jarred roasted red peppers in place of the tomato. Purchased pesto is fine here, but homemade is even better.

I followed the recipe exactly, but my Caprese Panini didn't turn out as pictured. The bread was too soggy and the cheese didn't melt properly.

The Caprese Panini was good, but it wasn't as flavorful as I expected. Maybe I'll try adding some more herbs or spices next time.

The Caprese Panini was a bit too salty for my taste. I think I'll try using less salt next time.
