This Carolina-style barbeque sauce features fresh apple, but otherwise it's a fairly straightforward, totally in-your-face-with-tang-and-heat recipe. It is fantastic on pulled pork and molasses-brined pork chops.

½ teaspoon vegetable oil
1 apple, peeled, cored and chopped
2 tablespoons brown sugar
1 cup apple cider vinegar
2 tablespoons yellow mustard

I would not recommend this BBQ sauce. It's too sweet and has an artificial flavor.

This BBQ sauce is a great value for the price. It's a little runny, but it still tastes great.

I wasn't a fan of this BBQ sauce. It was too tangy and didn't have much flavor.

I've tried a lot of Carolina-style BBQ sauces, and this one is by far the best. It's got the perfect amount of heat and spice, and it's not too sweet. I love using it on chicken, pork, and even tofu.
