Cherry Dump Cake image

The original recipe called for a can of fruit pie filling and a can of pineapple. We don't like pineapple so I used two 21 ounce cans of pie filling. The original recipe called for two sticks of butter. I used ONE stick of butter instead. I also added walnuts BEFORE I put the butter on. Enjoy!

I made this cake for a potluck and it was a hit! Everyone loved it. I used canned cherries and it was still very good.

This cherry dump cake was so easy to make and it turned out delicious! I used fresh cherries and they were perfect. The cake was moist and the topping was crispy. I will definitely be making this again.
