- Combine first 7 ingredients.
- Combine egg, buttermilk and margarine.
- Stir liquids into dry ingredients just until moistened.
- Fill muffin cups 2/3 full.
- Bake at 400 degrees for 14-18 minutes or until golden brown.
- Cool 5 minutes before removing from pan to wire rack.
