Cider-Roasted Chicken image

I'VE never shared this recipe before, even with members of my own family. I use it only for special occasions such as Christmas. I found the recipe in the first real good cookbook I owned, and my six children love it. I've also been inspired to enter cooking contests and have won several times. -Mary Dunphy, Stephenville, Newfoundland

This recipe is a waste of time. The chicken was dry and flavorless. I would not recommend it.

I'm not sure what I did wrong, but this recipe didn't turn out well for me. The chicken was tough and the glaze was bland.

This recipe was easy to follow and the chicken turned out great! The cider glaze was a little too sweet for my taste, but that's just personal preference. Overall, I'm happy with how this dish turned out.
