A different take on pickles. It actually takes 4 days to make these pickles.

Steps:
- 1. Drain pickles and discard juice. Cut into 1 inch chunks. Put pickles in a large jar.
- 2. Day 1: Add 1-1/4 cups sugar and red hots. Pour over pickles. Stir and let sit on counter.
- 3. Day 2: Add 1/2 cup of remaining sugar; stir twice a day, cover and let sit on counter.
- 4. Day 3: Add remaining sugar and tabasco, stir and then let sit on counter.
- 5. Day 4: At this point remove from large jar and put into clean smaller jars. Keep in refrigerator after this.
