1 cup flaky sea salt, such as Maldon
2 tablespoons freshly grated organic citrus zest, from well scrubbed grapefruits, oranges, lemons, or limes

Steps:

  • Heat oven to 200 degrees. In a bowl, mix salt and zest. Spread mixture on a parchment-lined baking sheet and bake until citrus is dry, about 1 hour. Let cool completely.
