I first encountered this delightful drink when I visited New Orleans for the first time in 1980. A year or so later it was served at a champagne brunch at the grand opening of the radio/tv station where my husband worked. This refreshing drink can be habit forming! Photo by lazyme

Number Of Ingredients 4

8 oz orange juice
1 bottle dry champagne (good brand)
2 oz triple sec or grand marnier
4 orange slices

Steps:

  • 1. Chill 4 champagne glasses in the freezer until frosty.
  • 2. Pour 2 ounces of orange juice into each glass. Fill almost full with champagne and then top off each glass with a splash of Triple Sec.
  • 3. Garnish with orange slices and serve while cold.
