My niece served this at a holiday brunch and my husband and I loved it. I've taken it to potlucks and I always bring back an empty pan.

Number Of Ingredients 9

1 16 oz french bread loaf
1 1/2 c shredded moteray jack cheese
1 1/2 c cheddar cheese, shredded
1 8 oz pkg cream cheese, cut into small chunks
1 4 oz can chopped green chilis

  • 2. Cover and chill for several hours or overnight.
  • 3. Bake uncovered at 350 for 55 to 60 minutes or until a knife inserted near the center comes out clean. Let stand for 10 minutes before serving. Makes 12 servings.

I'm not a big fan of cheese and eggs, but I really enjoyed this casserole. It was light and fluffy, and the flavors were well-balanced.

I'm not sure what I did wrong, but my casserole didn't turn out as well as I hoped. It was a little dry and the cheese didn't melt evenly.
