Cool Whip Frosting (no sugar added) image

Have you ever ordered a cake from the store and the frosting was so cloyingly sweet that it overpowered the taste of the cake? Here is a frosting that requires no powdered sugar and is soooo delicious and light and comes in many, many flavors. Enjoy!

Number Of Ingredients 3

1 c cold milk (2% or whole milk is good)
box (4 oz. size) jello instant pudding, any flavor
1 tub (8 oz.) cool whip

Steps:

  • 1. Pour milk into medium bowl, add pudding mix (whatever flavor you like), beat with wire wisk for 2 minutes. Gently stir in the whipped topping.
  • 2. Spread over cooled cake at once. Makes 4 cups or enough to frost the top of (1) 13x9 in. cake. This recipe may be doubled or tripled if you need more for a layer cake.
