Cornmeal Coating image

Yield Makes enough for 1 pint shucked oysters

Number Of Ingredients 6

1 cup cornmeal
1 teaspoon chopped fresh thyme
1/4 teaspoon coarse salt
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
1/4 teaspoon cayenne
2 teaspoons minced fresh flat-leaf parsley

Steps:

  • Mix all ingredients together in a small bowl or pie plate. Adjust seasoning, if desired.
