I added a cup of chopped broccoli to the filling and it was a great addition. This casserole is a great way to get your kids to eat their vegetables.

I'm not a fan of ground beef, so I substituted ground chicken in this recipe. It turned out great!

This casserole was a bit too salty for my taste. I would recommend using less salt in the recipe.

This casserole was a bit too heavy for my taste. I think I would have liked it better if I had used less cheese.

I substituted ground turkey for the ground beef and it was still very tasty. I also used a reduced-fat cheese to make it a bit healthier.

I found that this casserole was a bit too bland for my taste. I added some extra salt and pepper, and a teaspoon of garlic powder, and it was much better.

This recipe is a great way to use up leftover mashed potatoes. I also like to add a cup of frozen peas to the filling.
