Country Style Sausage Patties image

Tasty sausage patty recipe, from a recipe card in my files, with ingredients readily available. Substitute ground chicken or turkey for the pork if you like, and adjust the seasonings to taste. The patties are good served on toasted English muffins with a slice of cheese and a fried egg for a 'McMuffin'. Add home fries and sliced fresh tomatoes for a 'big breakfast'. Times given are estimates and do not include the one hour chilling time.

Overall, these sausage patties were pretty good. I would definitely make them again, but I would make a few changes to the recipe.

These patties were a little bland for my taste. I would definitely add some more seasoning next time.

I'm not sure what I did wrong, but my patties didn't turn out very well. They were kind of dry and crumbly.

These patties were really good, but I think they would be even better if they were grilled instead of fried.

I had some trouble getting the patties to brown evenly. I ended up cooking them for a little longer than the recipe called for.
