CRAB CASSEROLE image

Number Of Ingredients 7

7 slices of bread with crust removed & cut into 4 pieces
3/4# crab meat
3 eggs
2 1/2 cups milk
1/2# sharp cheddar cheese
2 T rounded dry mustard moistened in milk
Salt and Pepper

Steps:

  • 1. Grease casserole & flour lightly 2. Cover bottom w/ bread slices 3. Layer crab, cheese and salt and pepper 4. Beat eggs lightly with fork. Add milk and mustard. 5. Pour over casserole 6. Let stand at least 1 hour in fridge 7. Bake 1 hour at 325 degrees. NOTE: If X'ing recipe, cut milk from 5 to 4 cups.
