CRANBERRY (NUT) SURPRISE image

Number Of Ingredients 7

1/2 cup melted margarine (1 stick)
1 cup flour
2 cups fresh whole cranberries
1 1/2 teaspoon almond extract
2 eggs
1 cup sugar (or less)
OPTIONAL: 1 cup of nuts (walnuts, almonds, pecans, pistachios...your favorite)

Steps:

  • Melt margarine, let it cool. Pre-heat oven to 375 degrees. Combine sugar and flour. Mix with eggs. Add melted margarine. Stir. Add remaining ingredients. Pour into well-greased 9x9 inch glass baking pan. Bake at 375 degrees for 50 minutes. Remove from oven. Cool. Cut into small squares
