This recipe is a keeper! I've made it several times now and it's always a hit. I like to serve it over egg noodles or mashed potatoes. I also like to add a little bit of Dijon mustard to the sauce. It gives it a nice tang.

I'm not a big fan of bratwurst, but this recipe changed my mind. The creamy sauce really mellowed out the flavor of the sausage, and the onions and peppers added a nice sweetness. I'll definitely be making this again.

This recipe was a bit too rich for my taste. The sauce was very heavy and the bratwurst was a bit greasy. I think I would have liked it better if I had used a lighter sauce or if I had grilled the bratwurst instead of frying it.
