I came across these Crescent Chicken Roll-Ups years ago and have been making them since. I'm so glad I found it. It's just about the yummiest chicken dish I have ever had.

Time 30m

Number Of Ingredients 4

2 can(s) low fat crescent rolls
1 can(s) cream of chicken soup
1 c fat free cheddar or co-jack cheese shredded
2 medium chicken breast halves, skinless and boneless

Steps:

  • 1. Boil chicken breasts and then shred. You can also use left over rotisserie chicken or fried chicken with the skin removed.
  • 2. Place 1 T. of chicken in the unrolled crescents and roll up.
  • 3. Place in un-greased pan and bake at 350 degrees for 5 minutes till turning golden.
  • 4. Pour on the soup, spread out over the whole top, and bake for another 10 minutes.
  • 5. Top with cheese and bake the final 10 minutes.
  • 6. ADDITIONAL OPTIONS: Bacon on top of the chicken. Use chicken mushroom soup. Add diced olives or finely chopped broccoli to the soup. You could enhance this so much it would be it's own meal with out anything on "the side".

These roll-ups were a bit too greasy for my taste. I think I would use less butter next time.

I loved the combination of flavors in these roll-ups. The chicken was tender and juicy, and the crescent roll dough was flaky and buttery. I will definitely be making these again.

The chicken roll-ups were easy to make and tasted great. I used a store-bought rotisserie chicken to save time, and it worked perfectly.
