Time 3h10m

Yield 6-8 serving(s)

Number Of Ingredients 6

1 (4 lb) bag frozen chicken drumsticks or 1 (4 lb) bag chicken wings
2 (12 ounce) bottles franks buffalo wing sauce
1 cup margarine or 1 cup butter
2 teaspoons dried oregano
2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
1 tablespoon minced onions or 2 tablespoons dried onion

Steps:

  • Mix all ingredients except the chicken in a sauce pan and bring to a simmer. (I use Franks Buffalo Sauce but you can use any Hot Sauce or Buffalo Sauce.).
  • Place chicken in crock pot and pour heated sauce over the top. Cook on low or high. (Just depends on how fast you want to eat them.).
  • When chicken is cooked through, scoop (with a slotted spoon) onto a cookie sheet.
  • Broil on hi for 10-15 minutes (my husband likes these best when I sprinkle a dry rub over the wings before placing them in the oven. It helps hold the sauce in place and makes a slightly crispy coat). Just use any dry meat rub.Cajun, Jerk, Garlic etc. and add your own special touch!

I'm not sure what all the hype is about this recipe. The wings were just okay.

I wouldn't recommend this recipe. There are much better buffalo wing recipes out there.

These wings were a disappointment. They were dry and the sauce was bland.

I've tried a lot of different buffalo wing recipes, but this one is by far the best. The wings are always crispy and the sauce is amazing.

I'm not a big fan of buffalo wings, but these were actually really good. The sauce was flavorful and not too spicy.

I've made this recipe several times and it's always a crowd-pleaser. The wings are crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside, and the sauce is the perfect balance of sweet and spicy.

I made these wings for my family and they were a huge success! The sauce was perfect and the wings were cooked to perfection.
