Number Of Ingredients 6

6 Salmon fillets (fresh or frozen)
1/2 c. maple syrup
1/8 c. lime juice
1/4 c. soy sauce
2 tsp. crushed garlic
1 tsp. minced ginger root (I keep it in the freezer and grate it frozen. Very convenient!)

Steps:

  • 1. Place salmon pieces in the crock pot. 2. Mix the sauce ingredients and pour over salmon. 3. Cover. Cook on High for 1 hour. (increase to approx. 2 hours if using frozen fish) Note: This salmon is good hot or cold. Serve hot over rice, or crumble over salad or pasta cold. YUM!

This recipe is a great way to use up leftover salmon. I made a big batch of salmon for dinner one night, and then I used the leftovers to make this maple salmon dish the next day.

I'm not sure why, but my salmon always comes out dry when I cook it in the crock pot. I'm going to try this recipe again, but I'll cook the salmon on a lower setting.

I would not recommend this recipe. The salmon was tough and the maple glaze was too runny.

I thought this recipe was just okay. The salmon was a bit bland, and the maple glaze was too sweet for my taste.

I followed the recipe exactly, and the salmon turned out dry and overcooked. I'm not sure what went wrong.
