2 lbs. ground beef
1 lbs. ground pork
4 cloves garlic, chopped
1 cup onion, chopped
1 cup tomato sauce
1 cup water
1 ½ cups beer
3 tbsp. chili powder
2 tbsp. chicken or beef bouillon
2 tbsp. cumin
2 tsp. sugar
1 tsp. cocoa
2 tsp. paprika
2 tsp. oregano
½ tsp. ground coriander
1 tbsp. Louisiana hot sauce
1 tbsp. cornmeal
1 tsp. flour

Steps:

  • In a large pot brown meat in 2 batches, set aside. Sauté garlic and onion til tender. Add meat, tomato sauce, water, beer, chili powder, bouillon, cumin, paprika, oregano, sugar, cocoa, coriander and hot sauce. Bring to boil and simmer 2 hours Mix cornmeal and flour with 1 tsp. warm water Add to chili, simmer for 20 mins.
