Diabetic Gifts In A Jar Sugar Free Oatmeal Raisin Cookies image

Need some diabetic friendly recipes for gifts in a jar as well as the ones that have sugar.

Number Of Ingredients 6

1 1/ cups rolled oats
1 1/2 cups flour
1 cup raisins
1 cup splenda
1/2 tsp salt
2 tsp baking powder

Steps:

  • 1. You'll need a 1 quart mason jar,wide mouth is easier to fill and empty. Mix flour with salt and baking powder. Fill bottom of the jar with oatmeal, then flour, raisins and splenda on top. Pack down ingredients after every addition. Don't forget to Attach following tag to the jar: Sugar Free Oatmeal Raisin Cookies Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. In a large bowl mix 2/3 cup melted butter, 4 egg whites, 1/2 cup skim milk and 1 tsp. vanilla. Add contents of jar and mix until well blended. Drop by teaspoonfuls onto greased cookie sheets, about 2 inches apart. Bake 12-15 minutes. Cool on sheets for 5 minutes then remove to racks to finish cooling.
