Don's Cocktail Sauce image

My father-in-law made this all the time for family gatherings. We recently received the recipe and now prepare it for our family. It requires a few more ingredients than most, but they are common items that have a long shelf-life. It's definitely worth it.

1 cup ketchup
3 tablespoons chili sauce
1 tablespoon lemon juice
1 tablespoon prepared horseradish, or to taste
1 ½ teaspoons Worcestershire sauce
12 drops hot pepper sauce (such as Tabasco®)

Steps:

  • Stir ketchup, chili sauce, lemon juice, horseradish, Worcestershire sauce, and hot pepper sauce together in a bowl until smooth.
  • Cover bowl with plastic wrap and refrigerate until chilled, at least 15 minutes.
