DON'S FAVORITE BAKED BEANS image

Yield 15-18 people

Number Of Ingredients 8

3 28oz cans baked beans
1 medium onion, chopped
1 1/2 cups(packed) brown sugar
1 1/2 cups ketchup
1/2 cup mustard
6 slices bacon, cooked & crumbled
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon black pepper

Steps:

  • Combine all ingredients. Pour into two 2 or 3qt casseroles. Bake at 350 degrees for 1-1 1/2 hours until bubbly and thickening on edges. If serving at site of cooking, allow to sit 10 minutes before serving. If taking to a tailgate, pour into slow cooker and keep on low until time to travel.
