Dressing #1 (Low-Sodium Italian Dressing) image

I make salad dressings since commercial ones contain way too much sodium. This is a recipe from Betty Crocker's Cookbook, but I reduced the sodium, sugar, and substituted roasted garlic for raw.

This dressing is really good, but it's a bit too runny for my taste. I might try adding a little bit of cornstarch next time.

I'm not a huge fan of vinegar, but this dressing is still really good. The sweetness of the honey balances out the vinegar perfectly.

This dressing is a great way to use up leftover herbs. I always have a bunch of basil and oregano in my garden, so this is a perfect way to use them up.
