Dried Cherry, Walnut and Gorgonzola Salad image

15 minutes and two steps is all it takes to toss together a cheesy and nutty lettuce salad.

Number Of Ingredients 10

1 tablespoon white wine vinegar
2 teaspoons mayonnaise or salad dressing
1/2 teaspoon Dijon mustard
1/4 teaspoon salt
Dash of pepper
3 tablespoons olive or vegetable oil
1 bag (10 ounces) romaine and leaf lettuce salad mix (about 4 cups)
1/2 cup dried cherries
1/2 cup crumbled Gorgonzola cheese (2 ounces)
1/2 cup coarsely chopped walnuts

Steps:

  • Beat vinegar, mayonnaise, mustard, salt and pepper in small bowl with wire whisk until blended. Gradually beat in oil until well blended. Cover and refrigerate until serving.
  • Just before serving, place lettuce in large bowl. Pour dressing over lettuce; toss. Divide lettuce among serving plates. Sprinkle with cherries, cheese and walnuts.
