Earl-Grey Sugar-Cookie Dough image

Classic sugar cookie dough gets the teatime treatment when finely ground Earl Grey is added to the dough. Distinctly citrus, the tea infuses the dough with bergamot and-once baked-it's perfect for serving alongside a 'cuppa. Use your favorite holiday cookie cutter and head here for rolling and baking instructions, or use this recipe to build a magical (and edible!) woodland cookie cottage.

These cookies were a bit too sweet for my taste, but they were still good. I think I would reduce the amount of sugar next time.

I'm not a huge fan of Earl Grey tea, but I really enjoyed these cookies. The flavor is subtle and not overpowering. The cookies are also very soft and chewy.

These cookies were just okay. I found the Earl Grey flavor to be a bit too strong. I think I would try a different recipe next time.

The cookies were easy to make and the dough was very forgiving. I had some trouble finding Earl Grey sugar, but I was able to make my own by blending regular sugar with dried Earl Grey tea leaves in a food processor. It worked perfectly!

These Earl Grey sugar cookies were a delightful surprise! The subtle hints of bergamot added a sophisticated twist to the classic sugar cookie flavor without being overpowering. They were a hit at my tea party and disappeared quickly.
