Easy Apple Enchiladas image

So easy, and so good! Hope you enjoy it.

2 pkg refrigerated crescent rolls, 8 oz size
2 granny smith apples, large
1 1/2 stick butter, melted
1 c sugar
1 tsp cinnamon
1 can(s) citrus flavored soda, 12 oz

Steps:

  • 1. Peel, core and quarter apples, then halve each quarter. Unroll crescent rolls and separate at the perforations; place an apple section at the large end and roll to small end. Place apple rolls in rows in a 9 x 13 x 2 glass oven-proof dish.
  • 2. Melt butter, stir in sugar and cinnamon. Pour over rolled apples. Pour citrus soda over rolls.
  • 3. Bake for 40 minutes at 350 degrees. Serve warm, top with a scoop of vanilla ice cream, if desired.
