Steps:
- 1. Peel, core and quarter apples, then halve each quarter. Unroll crescent rolls and separate at the perforations; place an apple section at the large end and roll to small end. Place apple rolls in rows in a 9 x 13 x 2 glass oven-proof dish.
- 2. Melt butter, stir in sugar and cinnamon. Pour over rolled apples. Pour citrus soda over rolls.
- 3. Bake for 40 minutes at 350 degrees. Serve warm, top with a scoop of vanilla ice cream, if desired.
