Easy Broiled Asparagus image

I really didn't enjoy eating vegetables as a kid. When I moved to Stockton, California I discovered the wonderful taste of asparagus. Every April over 30,000 people flood into Stockton for the annual Asparagus Festival, with good reason. It's really a delicious vegetable that goes so well with everything (fish, meat, chicken). This is my favorite way of preparing asparagus. It's easy, quick and simple. And it's yummy!

This recipe is a great way to use up leftover asparagus. I had some leftover from a salad and I didn't want it to go to waste.

This is the best roasted asparagus recipe I've ever tried. The asparagus is crispy on the outside and tender on the inside.

I was really looking forward to trying this recipe, but I was disappointed. The asparagus was tough and overcooked.

Not bad! I thought the asparagus was a little bland. I'll try adding some more seasonings next time.
