Easy Cherry Streusel image

Can use many different variations. As far a Cake Mix and Pie fillings. Experiment and have fun with this simple recipe!!!

Number Of Ingredients 8

1 can(s) cherry pie filling (or use your favorite flavor)
1 box white cake mix
1 stick butter ( i like using real) margarine is fine
1 Tbsp lemon juice
ICING (POWDERED SUGAR GLAZE)
1 c powered sugar
1 to 2 Tbsp water
1 tsp vanilla extract

Steps:

  • 1. in a Greased 9x13 dish, pour pie filling in spread evenly.In a seperate bowl mix with a fork, Cake mix, butter,& lemon juice together to form a crumb like appearance. Sprinkle on top of pie filling. (tip if you use to much or if its not forming a crumb either add a little flour or bisquit mix to it)
  • 2. bake for 15-20 minutes. in 350 degree oven. While its still warm. Pour powder sugar glaze (This glaze should be a little runny) on top. Serve hot or cold
