Easy-Peasy Gluhwein (Hot German Spiced Wine/aka

This is the super-easy version of Gluhwein. Don't waste space in the pot with fruit. The spices and heat will add a whole new level to the sangria! This is always a big hit at my Christmas parties! You can use 1 whole orange peel in place of the whole lemon peel, if desired.

I love that this recipe can be made ahead of time. I can make a big batch and then just reheat it when I'm ready to serve it.

This recipe is a great way to use up leftover wine. I always have a few bottles of wine that I don't finish, so I'm glad I found a way to use them up.

I was a bit hesitant to try this recipe because I'm not a big fan of mulled wine, but I was pleasantly surprised. The spices are subtle and the wine is not overpowering. I will definitely be making this again.
