Egg White Cookies image

Daisy Williams taught me how to make these simple cookies when I was a teenager. They were always a hit on my Monday night cooking while Mama was gone to Bible study.

Number Of Ingredients 5

1 egg white, beaten stiff
3/4 c sugar (white or brown)
1/2 tsp vanilla extract
1/4 tsp almond extract
1/8 tsp salt

Steps:

  • 1. Beat egg white until stiff.
  • 2. Beat sugar int white. Add extracts and salt.
  • 3. Drop by teaspoonfuls on ungreased cookie sheet. Bake in 250 degree oven for 30 minutes.
