Energy Bites (Mock Larabar) image

Energy bars like Larabars are expensive ($1.75/bar) to buy. But you can easily make them using healthy ingredients. I made mine into small bites, vs. a bar. You can vary the ingredients using chopped dates, dried cherries or raisens or whatever dried fruit you have on hand. Yesterday at Costco I bought dried spiced apples and cranberries for under $3. I also buy my dried blueberries at Costco. Enjoy!

These energy bites are amazing! I made them with a few different variations, and they were all delicious. I added some chocolate chips to one batch, and some dried cranberries to another. Both were great, but I think I liked the chocolate chip ones t
