English Pea Casserole image

Very easy and tasty. To reduce carbs, rinse English peas with cold water and replace butter crackers with a sleeve of saltines. Can also add a small can of drained mushrooms for more flavor.

1 can(s) english peas with pearl onions, drained
1 jar(s) small drained pimientos
1 can(s) cream of celery soup
1 c cheddar cheese, shredded
1 pkg butter crakers, crushed
1 stick butter, melted

Steps:

  • 1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Mix peas, pimientos, and celery soup.
  • 2. Pour mixture into greased 1 1/2 qt. casserole dish, cover with cheese.
  • 3. Mix melted butter and crushed crackers. Spread over top.
  • 4. Bake until bubbly. About 30 minutes
