- Preheat the oven to 350 degrees. Place the roast in a shallow, glass baking dish; pour soy sauce and melted butter over the roast. Cook in oven for 10 minutes, turn roast over, and continue cooking for 35-40 minutes. Baste occasionally until the internal temperature is 140 degrees for medium well done. Let meat rest for 10-15 minutes before slicing.
