Faster Sausage Dip with velveeta and Salsa image

This used to be a 2 hour dip due to the slow cooker. I saw a lady running short on time and found the quick tip. I will put in the recipe.

Time 45m

Number Of Ingredients 5

1 small velveeta cheese
1 jar salsa picante or chunky
1 roll of jimmy dean sausage
1 bag of tostitos or plain chips
NEVER LEFTOVERS

Steps:

  • 1. Brown Sausage and drain or spoon out grease.
  • 2. Cut Velveeta into cubes while sausage is cooking.
  • 3. Use a medium glass Pyrex dish. It doesn't burn any cheese. Plastic might. It keeps the heat too. Add all ingredients and microwave 3 minutes at the time and stir until all the cheese is melted.
  • 4. You are done! Add to a slow cooker if having company. You can keep heating this up and it stays warm in this kind of dish. Easy clean up.Serve with Tostitos Scoops or plain Chips.

This dip was a bit too spicy for my taste, but my friends loved it. I would recommend using a milder salsa if you don't like spicy food.
