Favorite Chocolate Chip Cookies from Domino Sugar Recipe - (4/5) image

Number Of Ingredients 9

2 1/4 cups sifted all-purpose flour
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 lb. (1 cup) soft butter or margarine
1 1/4 cups firmly packed Domino Dark Brown Sugar
2 eggs
1 1/2 teaspoons vanilla
2 packages (6 oz. each) semi-sweet chocolate bits
1 cup chopped pecans or walnuts, optional

Steps:

  • Sift flour, soda and salt together. Cream butter and sugar thoroughly. Add eggs and vanilla, beating until light. Gradually add flour mixture, beating until smooth. Add chocolate bits and nuts. Drop by teaspoon on ungreased baking sheet. Bake in moderate oven 375°F, 8 to 10 minutes or until edges brown.
