FETA AND BASIL TURKEY BURGERS image

Yield 4 4 oz. burgers

Number Of Ingredients 11

Ingredients
1 pound 93/7 ground turkey
1/3 cup crumbled feta
2 tablespoons white onion, chopped
1 tablespoon fresh basil, chopped
1 tablespoon panko bread crumbs
1 1/2 teaspoons worcestershire sauce
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon pepper
5 hamburger buns
Basil pesto mayonnaise for topping* (optional)

Steps:

  • Directions In a large bowl combine all ingredients and mix until all ingredients are combined. Separate into 5 4oz balls. Roll each ball and using the palms of your hands press down until 1/2 inch thick. Cook burgers on grill or stovetop until thoroughly cooked. Recommended internal temperature should be 165 degrees Fahrenheit. *For Basil pesto mayonnaise take basil pesto (homemade or store bought) and mix with just a little light or regular mayonnaise for a creamy basil pesto mayonnaise. Perfect topping for these burgers!
