- Directions In a large bowl combine all ingredients and mix until all ingredients are combined. Separate into 5 4oz balls. Roll each ball and using the palms of your hands press down until 1/2 inch thick. Cook burgers on grill or stovetop until thoroughly cooked. Recommended internal temperature should be 165 degrees Fahrenheit. *For Basil pesto mayonnaise take basil pesto (homemade or store bought) and mix with just a little light or regular mayonnaise for a creamy basil pesto mayonnaise. Perfect topping for these burgers!
