I'm not sure what went wrong, but my beans turned out mushy. I'm not sure if I cooked them for too long or if I used the wrong type of beans.

I've always been a fan of baked beans, but this recipe takes them to the next level. The addition of chipotle peppers gives them a smoky, slightly spicy flavor that is addictive.

This was a fabulous recipe! The beans were smoky, slightly sweet, and had a nice kick of heat. I served them with grilled chicken and cornbread, and it was a perfect summer meal.
