We first had this salad at our daughter's home in California. It's wonderful with a meat-and-potatoes dinner, or served for lunch with chunks of French bread.

I found this salad to be a bit bland. I would recommend adding more seasoning.

This salad is a bit too spicy for my taste. I would recommend using less chili powder.

I'm not a big fan of cilantro, so I omitted it from the recipe. The salad was still delicious without it.

This salad is a great way to get your kids to eat their vegetables. My kids love the sweet corn and black beans, and they don't even notice the healthy vegetables.

This salad is a great way to use up leftover corn. I always have some leftover corn after I make corn on the cob, and this is a great way to use it up.
