My Mom used to make this as a special breakfast treat when we had company or for holidays. It is a baked pancake/custard. I like it with syrup and sausages served on the side. The Finns would often serve with jam or fruit preserves and of course coffee.

I thought the recipe was a bit bland. I added some chopped apples and cinnamon to the batter, and it was much better.

I'm not sure what went wrong, but my pannukakku didn't turn out fluffy at all. It was more like a dense pancake.

I made a double batch of this recipe and froze half of it. When I was ready to eat it, I just thawed it in the refrigerator overnight and then reheated it in the oven. It was just as good as when I first made it.

I cooked the pannukakku in a cast iron skillet and it gave it a nice crispy crust. I highly recommend using a cast iron skillet if you have one.

I'm not a big fan of sweet breakfasts, so I omitted the sugar from the recipe. The pannukakku was still delicious, even without the added sweetness.

I'm gluten-free and I was able to make this recipe using gluten-free flour. It turned out just as good as the regular version.

I love that this recipe only uses a few simple ingredients. It's a great way to use up leftover milk and eggs.

This recipe was easy to follow and the pannukakku turned out great. I served it with lingonberry jam and whipped cream, and it was a perfect breakfast.

I've never had pannukakku before, but I'm glad I tried it. It's like a cross between a pancake and a Dutch baby, and it's absolutely delicious.

I'm Finnish and I can say that this is a very authentic recipe. The pannukakku came out perfect, golden brown and fluffy.

I made these for breakfast this morning and they were a hit! My kids loved them and even my husband, who is usually not a fan of pancakes, ate two.

These turned out amazing! I added a bit of vanilla extract and cinnamon to the batter, and they were so fluffy and delicious.
