Yield 6

Number Of Ingredients 6

3 tablespoons vegetable oil
2 eggs
½ cup all-purpose flour, or as needed
2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
½ cup milk
1 pinch salt and ground black pepper

Steps:

  • Preheat the oven to 400 degrees F (200 degrees C). Pour oil equally into 6 cups of a Yorkshire pudding tin and place in the oven to heat.
  • Line up 3 identical glasses. Add eggs to the first glass. Add milk to the second glass; it should come to the height of the eggs in the first glass. Add 1/2 cup plus 2 tablespoons flour to the third glass; it should match the height of the eggs and milk in the other glasses. Whisk measured eggs, milk, and flour together in a mixing bowl. Season the batter with salt and pepper.
  • Remove hot oiled tin from the oven. Pour batter into the cups and return tin immediately to the oven.
  • Bake puddings in the preheated oven until well-risen, 4 to 5 minutes.

These Yorkshire puddings were okay, but they weren't anything special. I've had better.

I'm not sure what I did wrong, but these Yorkshire puddings were a complete failure. They were dense and gummy, and they had a strange aftertaste.

I was disappointed with these Yorkshire puddings. They were flat and dense, and they didn't have much flavor.

These Yorkshire puddings were a bit too greasy for my taste, but they were still edible. I think I might have used too much oil.

I had a bit of trouble getting the Yorkshire puddings to rise, but they still tasted good. I think I might have overmixed the batter.

These Yorkshire puddings were a bit too eggy for my taste, but they were still good. I think I would use less egg next time.

I've been making Yorkshire puddings for years, and this recipe is the best I've ever tried. The puddings are always light and fluffy, and they have a beautiful golden crust. I love serving them with roast beef and gravy.

I've tried many Yorkshire pudding recipes over the years, but this one is by far the best. The batter is so simple to make, and the results are always perfect. I love that I can make them ahead of time and then just pop them in the oven when I'm read
