This is an unusual dessert that's like a traditional baked apple pie, but the only baking is for the cheesecake topping. Not what you would expect, but very tasty. We got this at a recipe shower when we were first married and it's become a family favorite.

I'm not a big fan of apples, but I loved this pie! The cream filling and crust were so good that I didn't even mind the apples.

This pie was easy to make and turned out great! The only thing I would change is to use a deeper pie dish so that the filling doesn't spill over.

The crust was a bit tricky to work with, but the end result was worth it. It was flaky and buttery, and it held up well to the filling.

I was skeptical about the cream filling, but it turned out to be amazing! It was so light and fluffy, and it paired perfectly with the apples.
